Bringing a new puppy home is one of the most exciting events for a family to share; however getting your new bundle of joy housetrained can become frustrating and time consuming.

Starting a proper routine such as housebreaking and setting household rules should begin day 1 of taking your new pup home, as bad habits are easy to create. 

It is important to remember that puppies don't usual come house trained. They will do all the wrong things until you teach them the rules of the house.

Allowing unwanted behaviour to continue due to your puppies size and age can develop future behavioral issues, so it important to enforce the behaviour you would like your companion to exercise when he/she is grown. Sure they are so cute, however their mothers set rules and boundaries for them since birth so once they are at home with us we need to replace this authority figure that their mother once were.
